brb. solves one of the most annoying classroom problems: bathroom and hallway sign-out chaos. Students sign out through a simple kiosk flow while teachers keep cleaner records — without passing around a clipboard.
Students use a simple kiosk flow instead of interrupting the teacher or passing around a paper log.
Teachers get a clearer sign-out history for classroom routines, parent calls, and admin conversations.
Designed for browsers, Chromebooks, tablets, and the common classroom setups schools already have.

Private tutoring for all ages with George — coding, robotics, AI, and digital creativity, plus K–5 Math & ELA and patient tech help for adults. K–12 Computer Science certified. From “I like games” to “I can build one.”
Mount an iPad on the wall by your door. Kids wave at it to sign out. Wave again to sign in. You stop getting interrupted mid-lesson to write down "Maya · bathroom · 10:47."
Run morning meeting on the screen. Calendar, weather, daily greetings, and SEL routines for your littlest learners. Built warm and visual on purpose.
Plan your room before students walk in. Drag desks, set conflicts, hit Auto-Arrange. Save layouts for every section. Print or share.
A pencil-shaped countdown timer at the top of the screen, sharpening as it ticks down. Sort kids into center squares — manually or random shuffle — with editable labels and photos.
A full-screen countdown for your class periods. Enter your bell schedule once (it stays on your device), then see the current period, time left, passing time, and an optional end-of-period warning chime.
Build a mystery. Hide codes around the room — paper, posters, anywhere. When kids find a code and type it in, they get a digital item. Use those items to crack open lockboxes for the next clue.
Pattern blocks, fraction bars, two-color counters, coins, dice, spinners — all on one workspace. Drag, click, rotate, roll. Like Polypad without the menu fatigue.
A classroom trading sim with real stock and crypto prices. Hand each kid practice money, share a class code, watch them figure out portfolios, P/L, and risk. Great for math, economics, and SEL units on patience.
Layer rain, fireplace, ocean, café, crickets — set the work-time mood with overlapping ambient sounds. Each layer has its own volume. Generated live, no audio files to download.
Drop in a CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, and case. Watch the price, power draw, and bottleneck verdict change live. Kid-friendly tiers from Starter to Dream Rig.
Plan a sub day in one pass. Emergency info, dismissal, lesson plans, and a one-day password — all on a printable handout. Lives on a USB drive so it works anywhere, even with no internet.
A world map for the classroom — like Google Maps, but without ads, address searches, or street-view surprises. Tap a continent, country, or landmark to read a kid-friendly fact and hop straight to ResearchLab to dig deeper.
An elementary academic fact helper. Students ask about animals, science, math, art, reading, social studies, music, or coding — and Fact Wizard answers only from facts a teacher has approved. No guessing, no outside knowledge, no surprises. Sources shown with every answer.
140 teacher-vetted articles pre-loaded with the app — animals, space, history, science, geography, sports & music. No live searches reach the internet, and students can only open topics from the curated library. Teachers can edit any article in-browser.

Big Brain Labs is a one-teacher software studio. I started it because every tool I was supposed to use as a teacher was either built by a giant ed-tech company that hadn't been in a classroom in twenty years, or some nightmare of pop-ups, ads, and dashboards that wanted to "track engagement."
Every app starts the same way: I notice something annoying in my own classroom — the clipboard kids forget to sign back in, the morning meeting that drags, the tardy log that never gets filed — and I build the tool I wish existed. I polish it until I'm proud to use it with my own students. Then, and only then, do I put it on the internet.
No engagement dashboards. No tracking pixels embedded in your students' photos. Just useful software that earns its keep by saving you time.
If you're a teacher and you want to test something early, I'd love that. If you find a bug, I'm the one fixing it. — support@bigbrainlabs.org
Big Brain Labs apps run on the devices you already own and — for almost everything we make — don't transmit student data off the device. We offer institutional pricing for schools deploying to 10+ classrooms, signed Data Privacy Agreements (DPAs), and direct support during the school year.
